FTDF 2015 Stage 20 - Pinot the Hero

They think it's all over - it is now. Another exciting day in the Alps and as expected, Movistar and Quintana tried to work over Sky and Froome. Quintana succeeded in dropping the Yellow Jersey, but there just wasn't enough road for him to take the race lead.

And Quintana didn't even get a Stage win for his trouble, for Thibaut Pinot was already up the road and had just enough left in the tank to keep the Colombian at bay.

So, all in all, Quintana shouldn't have bothered. He didn't get the stage. And he didn't improve on his second place overall. Still he did make the race a little more exciting and made Froome Dog look a little more human.

We know him only as Francisco, but whoever he may be, he got the most points today.

As we approach the conclusion of our Fantasy Tour adventure, the Kloefekappers are looking strong. But who is that in second? Surely we won't see the Smugblokes on the podium in Paris? They are normally in the battle for the lantern rouge.

The real racing is over now, but the remaining sprinters have ridden their balls off through the Alps for a crack at the win on the Champs Elysees. A Kristoff-Degenkolb double is what the Bile Beans need - it's not going to happen though.
